Announcing the 2026 Club Doubles Ladder

Get ready for a season of teamwork, excitement, and friendly rivalry!

We are thrilled to launch the 2026 Doubles Ladder Competition—a lively event designed to keep members active, engaged, and enjoying the spirit of the game.

This is a fixed pairs competition, challenging other teams in an aim to get to the top of the ladder.

Send your entry to Neil – neilcollierspeed6@gmail.com by 5pm on 20^th March.

Pay £10 via BACS to:  Headley & Bordon Petanque Club A/c No. 02235076, Sort Code 30-93-20.

Teams will be drawn out at random and placed on the ladder before the club session on Saturday 21st March. You can then start planning your match dates.

The competition runs from 1 April to 31 October.

The ladder positions will be updated after every match and visible on the Club website. You can challenge teams up to three spots above and rise through the ranks by winning matches.  The format is three 40-minute timed games.

There will be prizes for the top all-male, all-female, and mixed teams, with prizes presented at the AGM.
