Coaching
Although the techniques of playing Pétanque are simple and easy to learn, you will only get the most out of the game and your abilities if you are taught the ‘basics’ in the correct way - and if you continue to practice and develop your skills.
Fortunately, our club has two qualified coaches on hand to teach and guide you as you learn the game. This may be via one to one or group sessions. In addition, at various times during the year we hold club coaching days which cover various aspects of the game including pointing, shooting, spinning and game strategy.
And of course, our more experienced club members are always happy to give you advice at any time.
Petanque England and the Southern Counties Petanque Association are also excellent sources of coaching and training information, and we would recommend you visit both their web sites to see what tuition and advice they can provide.
