About our club
History
Headley & Bordon Pétanque Club owes its existence to the bond between our community’s Conde Link Twinning Association and our French twin town, Conde-Sur-Vire in Normandy. It all began during a weekend twinning visit to Conde in 1991, where we played boules.
Inspired by this, a group of enthusiasts decided to meet regularly for recreational play upon their return. Thus, a Pétanque Club was born at The Wheatsheaf in Arford near Headley. Over the years, we’ve become Headley & Bordon Petanque Club and relocated locally several times. Today our home is at the Bordon & Oakhanger Sports Club (BOSC) sports hub.

Our mission
Our Club’s mission is to enrich the community through sport offering a welcome space for all ages to play, compete and connect. We’re dedicated to fostering growth, embracing diversity and inspiring young adults to discover the joys of petanque.
Club Officials
Headley & Bordon Petanque Club is officiated by the HBPC committee.
