And We're Off!

This morning, some of the committee went to The Headley Playing Fields and Pavilion to meet John Dorans and his son, Ian who are two of the team that are preparing to start work on our new terrain.

As you can see they have already fenced off the area and are marking out the areas to start digging tomorrow (weather permitting!)

We will try and keep you updated in pictures, so here are the first where the exact measurements were transferred from paper to soil. Final discussions over, having taped, measured, measured again and marked with blue spray paint Mike had the well deserved honour of digging the first sod. We would not be where we are now without him, so many thanks Mike and the relocation team.
