About the event
Every 5 November in Britain on Guy Fawkes Day, we remember the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, when Guy Fawkes and fellow Catholic conspirators attempted to blow up Parliament and assassinate James I of England.
However, on 1st November we are holding a melee and everyone is welcome - no one is going to blow up anyone!
Usual format - registration at 9.30 for a 10am kick off with three 50 minute timed games.
Then retreat to the bar for a hot toddy.
